Stephen Curry makes a wild layup after bumping into Larry Nance Jr.

Less than 24 hours after embarrassing Dillon Brooks on Monday night, Stephen Curry hit another circus shot after bumping into Larry Nance Jr. Curry is off to a good start this season, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 2-1 record over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Midway through the third quarter, Curry had the ball at the top of the arc and was defended by Matt Ryan. It was a mismatch on offense, and Ryan couldn't stop the two-time NBA MVP.

Nance Jr. tried to press charges, but the referees didn't blow the whistle. Curry ended the game with a tough layup to give the Warriors an 81-68 lead. Nance Jr. was angry with the referees because he thought it should have been called an offensive foul.

Stephen Curry continues to torment defenders
The 2023-24 NBA season is only a week old, but Stephen Curry has already had a couple highlight-reel moments. On Sunday night, Curry's move on Brooks drew a lot of attention as the Houston Rockets guard was picked up in a crossbody and looked pretty stupid.

Brooks was defending Curry with about three minutes left in the game when Curry, a four-time NBA champion, threw him off with a nice crossover step. Brooks was able to recover and jump up against Curry's shot.

However, the greatest shooter of all time faked the shot, causing Brooks to jump like a spring-loaded monostilt. In the end, Curry hit a three-pointer and the Golden State Warriors won 106-95.

What does Stephen Curry think about cooking Dillon Brooks?
Stephen Curry says he doesn't care about Dillon Brooks' "thug" reputation, he just wants to play the game. Curry shared his thoughts on cooking Brooks in an interview with NBC Sports Bay Area:

"Well, we know what he is and we know his reputation," Curry said." I don't get caught up in it. I just play basketball, so obviously you let the game do the talking. He's got a lot of history whenever you know a team is hungry to beat you, especially, but at the end of the day, you're just playing basketball.

"The results speak for themselves and I like to have fun here, especially in the fourth quarter when it's time to win the game".
